Maine's sexual assault support centers help survivors families and friends - anytime. If the assault happened yesterday or 30 years ago, Maine's advocates are there to help with whatever you need. If you child has been sexually abused and you are facing the issue for the first time, they can help. They can also help if you yourself have been abused or assaulted and are having a lot of feelings about what has happened with your child. Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault
The Maine Network of Children's Advocacy Centers is a program of the Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MECASA). MECASA is organized to end sexual violence and to support high quality sexual violence prevention and response in Maine's communities. MECASA is the organization that supports Maine's sexual assault support centers, works on public policy to support victims, provides expert training and technical assistance related to sexual violence prevention and response, and informs the public's conversation about the issue.
